A SLOW AND

FASCINATING TRIP

Umbria is a region of Central Italy and it’s one of the few regions to have no access to the sea. It is bordered by Tuscany to the west, Marche to the east and Lazio to the south. The territory of Umbria is divided between two provinces that are Perugia (the regional capital) and Terni. This region, despite not having a coastline, offers to tourists a green mostly hilly area and it is also rich in streams like the Tiber river (the third largest river in Italy) that flows southward.. And also the Lake Trasimeno and the Marmore Falls. Umbria is renowned throughout the world for its art, its history, its landscapes and its typical products. Among the many cities, the most famous are Assisi, Gubbio, Orvieto, Spoleto, Bevagna, Montefalco and Trevi.
