From peaceful backroads to cities of art, this tour is a perfect blend of nature, culture, and flavor, all at the gentle rhythm of the bike.
The road opens through olive groves and vineyards, where the hills shimmer with light. A winery awaits with lunch and a glass of Sagrantino, a wine that tastes of Montefalco's earth and sun. We ride deeper into the Valle Umbra, through medieval villages wrapped in silence, until Assisi appears, golden and sacred, a city of art and spirit rising from the valley like a prayer. On the last morning, a quiet moment in Trevi, then the road home. But the hills will long remember the whisper of our wheels.

Daily Program
Day 1 – Arrival in Trevi
We arrive in the charming town of Trevi, our home for the next few days. Check-in at our accommodation is open until the afternoon, giving us time to settle in and breathe in the tranquil Umbrian air. Later, we gather for a bike fitting and a short briefing: an introduction to the routes, the pedaling pace, and the little wonders that await us along the way.
Day 2 – The Olive Oil and Sagrantino Roads
We set off on a ride through the hills that have made Umbria famous for its liquid gold and full-bodied red wines. Our route winds through olive groves and vineyards, stopping at a local olive oil mill to see how the region's renowned extra virgin olive oil is produced. The highlight of the day comes at lunchtime: we are welcomed to a winery in the Montefalco area, where we are served lunch among the barrels. Here, we taste Sagrantino, a powerful and bold wine, paired with typical local dishes. A day to be savored, slowly, on two wheels.
Day 3 – Discovering the Umbrian Valley and the splendor of Assisi
Today we head our bikes toward the heart of the Umbrian Valley. We ride along quiet secondary roads, passing through small medieval villages that seem suspended in time. Each village offers a moment of silence, a stone church, and a view that extends across the valley. Our destination is Assisi, which stands majestically on its hill. We take time to admire its basilica, its narrow streets, and the peaceful atmosphere that has attracted pilgrims for centuries. Then we return to Trevi along quiet roads.
Day 4 – Farewell to Umbria
Our last morning begins with a coffee and a visit to the estate that hosts us, where we will hunt for truffles and then enjoy brunch overlooking the rolling hills.
